Ebced Name Method
Yıldıznâme is the shared Ottoman name for books of star divination; it is not a single method. The calculation here is the name method described in those books: no birth date, time or place is needed, and it is not a birth chart.
Ebced counts how letters are written, not how they sound. So we first settle the Ottoman/Arabic spelling of your name and your mother's name: a spelling attested in sources where one exists, your choice where there are several, and otherwise a spelling clearly marked as a reconstruction that you confirm.
You then see your sign (chapter), the element and planet the tradition assigns to it, and the letter-by-letter count. Stone, incense and similar suggestions appear separately as GA's modern interpretation; they are not part of the historical calculation.
This is a cultural transmission of a traditional belief, not a scientific finding or a verdict about the future. The calculation is free and needs no account; your names are not stored.
