Stone
Kyanite
Kyanite, an Al₂SiO₅ polymorph with strongly directional hardness.
Also known as: kiyanit · kyanite
Kyanite is an Al₂SiO₅ polymorph with strongly directional hardness. It it indicates metamorphic pressure conditions and serves the refractory industry.
Its physical identity is distinct from spiritual interpretation. It is associated with alignment, honest expression and gathering scattered parts around one axis. These correspondences are symbolic uses in modern crystal culture, not measured mineral effects.
Because of its low hardness it should be protected from scratches and impact and cleaned gently with a dry, soft cloth. Spiritual interpretations belong to belief and personal experience; they do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Mineral dust must not be inhaled during cutting or grinding.
